Despite the Lufthansa and rail strikes, the world's largest travel trade show was back in full force last week where more than 100,000 attendees from the global travel ecosystem made their annual pilgrimage to Berlin's Messe Convention Center to showcase how innovation in the travel industry continues to accelerate.

ITB Berlin provided an exciting glimpse into the future of the hotel industry, demonstrating how the latest trends and innovations are transforming hospitality. Unsuprisingly artificial intelligence was top of mind with dozens of compelling new applications and use cases throughout the hotel tech stack across all departments which contrasts to prior years where AI was mostly silo'd into chatbots and messaging tools.
