Maestro PMS is the standard for our small, boutique hotel group. We have consolidated various platforms to Maestro being the sole option for our existing properties and any new properties we acquire
Support in our industry is critical. We have a small in-house team that simply cannot manage all aspects - we rely heavily on our vendor to be our partners. Having Maestro's Canadian based support with multiple options (chat, ticket, call, etc.) ensures that our hotel operations can get quick and efficient access to support when they need it.
We feel that Maestro values us as a partner as well, and they are just as concerned about our success as we are.
As a security driven organization, we appreciate that the on-premise option is robust and fully supported so that we can ensure all California and EU GDPR regulatory compliance are being met.
The bi-annual conferences are a fantastic get together to learn about the changes being rolled out and to meet face to face with all of the Maestro staff. These conferences, I hope with COVID, will continue as it is an invaluable asset to our business to be able to meet in person with engineers, support technicians, accounting teams, and more.
何が嫌いですか、または改善できると思いますか？
The UI is slightly dated compared to other products - we understand that change in this industry is slow and measured, but I would like to see a refresh in the next few years to make a more modern and confluent UI that focuses on mobile options as well. Especially with COVID and work from anywhere, the notion of a computer being the main interface is quickly becoming a legacy.
As always with security, I would like to see an out of the box option for a reverse proxy available on the Maestro web interface. We can develop our own, but many companies may not have the in-house expertise to do so on their own. 2FA access would also be welcome, with focus on standards and not a custom application.
Active Directory integration would also be an interesting addon - so we could integrate our own 2FA and other security features and not have a separate login for the PMS.
