The Maestro PMS allowed us to integrate with our existing food and beverage system, and golf POS and OTA providers. Their support has been exceptional over the last 2 years, always being available to help with questions about how the system works. The back end is a solid industry standard SQL which can be leveraged to do custom reporting on your own if you choose. Maestro has many modules that can be used to custom fit to our environment, and we weren't pushed into adding extra modules when the selected module(s) already had the capacity to do what we wanted. Maestro is offered in a web based environment and allows IT departments to run it on very light user machines, even if it is a Mac or Linux based OS. I have personally ran it on a raspberry Pi. Since the processing is done mainly on the server, the response time is very quick for most of the front desk daily operations. Updates and update labour is currently included with support pricing, which was nice to find out since other vendors like to hide that labour is not in their contracts.

I feel that the GUI is sometimes a bland and certain younger staff members who come on board aren't used to such a form based approach. Maestro PMS has so many features that sometimes it is hard to remember where to find the configuration menu to change something. The keyboard shortcuts and lack of emphasis on the use of the mouse is also sometimes difficult for staff to get used to.
