They are very nice people and customer service is prompt. Staff has been their the entire time we have dealt with them so that says something for the company.

Actual service calls have a bit of a lead time (2 days) as I do not believe their field support is very local. No upgrade to equipment in the last five years - still have those big boxes, one per channel, up in the server room - surely those have been reduced in size in half a decade? Not entirely sure how we ended up with World Cinema. They are a Direct TV reseller - perhaps they agreed to install the system with no cost to us at all. I know they did lock us into a 7 year contract which is completely unheard of. It was originally a 5 year and then they added 2 years onto it when we switched to HD. We pay 1087 a month for 42 rooms but we only get 26 channels, none of which are currently popular with our demographic. No Comedy Central, HGTV or Food Network, no CSN (Comcast Sports Net) but we do get 5 ESPN channels including ESPN classic which is great if you want to watch 20 year old baseball games. I think we might even have the NASA channel. Seriously. Our contract is finally up on the 19th of this month. Direct TV has been on us to switch to their platform at half the monthly cost but with an initial investment for the hardware. We will be moving to Comcast as they can provide both HD channels (about 100) plus better internet for the guest and administration. The only downside is that we will have to upgrade our TV's to 49 inch pro-idiom at roughly $300 each.
