COTT Electronics Launches Hotelier TV: A Streaming-First In-Room Platform with AI Concierge and Mobile Companion
The Warsaw-based hospitality technology company introduces a cloud platform that turns hotel TVs into revenue-generating guest engagement hubs, with PIN-based setup, no contracts, and deployment measured in hours rather than weeks.
COTT Electronics, the European hospitality technology company, today announced the launch of Hotelier TV, a cloud-based in-room entertainment and guest engagement platform built for independent hotels, boutique properties, and multi-property groups.
Hotelier TV replaces traditional hotel TV infrastructure with a single internet-based platform. Guests are welcomed by name on a fully branded interface offering live TV, video on demand, hotel services, and an AI concierge that answers questions in more than 20 languages around the clock.
A key innovation is the built-in Mobile Companion. Guests scan a QR code on the TV screen and instantly receive the hotel's services on their own phone, with no app download and no login. Room service orders, spa bookings, housekeeping requests, and wake-up calls flow directly from the guest's phone to hotel staff, turning every room into an active revenue channel.
"Hotels have been paying for TV systems that do nothing but display channels," said Giorgi Kurulashvili, CEO of COTT Electronics. "We built Hotelier TV so the screen finally works for the hotel: it welcomes the guest, answers their questions, takes their orders, and grows in-room spend, while the front desk gets fewer routine calls."
Setup is designed for speed. A property registers online, configures branding and services in the admin panel, installs the app on any Android TV or the COTT STB432 set-top box, and pairs each screen with a one-time PIN code. Deployments are measured in hours rather than weeks, with no headend hardware and no rewiring.
The platform integrates with leading property management systems including Mews, Apaleo, and Cloudbeds for cloud deployments, with Oracle Opera and Micros supported in on-premise installations. PMS integration enables personalised welcome screens, automatic check-in and check-out syncing, and in-room service ordering.
Hotelier TV is available at 10 EUR per room per month with all features included, no setup fees, and no long-term contracts. Properties can start with a 14-day free trial. For locations with unreliable internet, the same platform is available as an on-site server with built-in DVB-S/S2 satellite and DVB-T/T2 terrestrial reception.
COTT Electronics is headquartered in Warsaw, Poland, and serves hospitality properties across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
