dailypoint and D-EDGE announce strategic partnership
dailypointTM (TS&C) and D-EDGE - part of the Accor Group - are pleased to announce a global strategic partnership combining the CRS of D-EDGE, one of the leading providers of digital solutions for hotels, with the CRM and guest data management platform of dailypoint.
As technology plays an increasingly important role in the hospitality industry, all-in-one tech solutions covering the full spectrum of technological needs are the future. The D-EDGE-dailypoint partnership is a big step in this direction and offers the market a solution that intelligently combines CRS and CRM.
Pierre-Charles Grob, CEO of D-EDGE (formerly Availpro Fastbooking) comments: "This promising partnership between D-EDGE, one of the top 3 CRS providers, and dailypoint, probably the leading Guest Data Management solution, is a major step in our strategy to simplify the complexity of technology for hoteliers. dailypoint's technical solutions will be linked to our CRS, enabling ideal guest data management along the entire customer journey, allowing all processes to be fully personalized".
As a sign of its commitment to the partnership, a minority stake in dailypoint was acquired.
Michael Toedt, CEO of dailypoint (TS&C) adds: "It is a confirmation of the work we have done in recent years to become the leading central data management platform. One of our major USPs, the creation of the important central guest profile, was decisive for the entry and forms the basis of the technical connection between the two companies, which will be expanded in the coming months.“
"At this point we would like to emphasize that despite the investment we remain completely independent and that it is not a multi-stage acquisition but a technical partnership. We have a clear roadmap for the technical link between dailypoint and D-EDGE, which will provide unprecedented personalization opportunities.“
In addition to the technical link, D-EDGE will also distribute dailypoint exclusively in various markets, including France and Japan.
