Roomstay Launches PayPal Integration, Giving Hotel and Holiday Park Guests Flexible Payment Options
New partnership enables guests to pay upfront or split bookings into four interest-free installments; properties receive immediate payment while reducing checkout friction
Roomstay, the booking engine that powers direct bookings for hotels and holiday parks, has gone live with PayPal, including PayPal Pay in 4. The integration gives guests globally trusted payment flexibility—the option to pay instantly or split their booking cost into four interest-free installments—while ensuring properties get paid upfront.
The move addresses a critical challenge in the bookings landscape. Flexible payment options reduce checkout friction and push guests toward upgrades and longer stays, driving direct revenue that OTAs don't capture. For properties, the upfront payment guarantee opens the door to bookings that would've otherwise gone to online travel agencies or been abandoned entirely.
"We've been deliberate about building connections to the payment options our clients actually need. Rather than forcing properties into a single payment solution, we're committed to offering the widest range of choice possible—from traditional gateways to emerging buy-now-pay-later options like PayPal and Afterpay. That flexibility means our clients aren't locked in; they can meet their guests where they are, maximise conversion, and drive the direct bookings that matter most to their business." said Declan Mimnagh, Roomstay Founder
This launch follows Roomstay's pioneering Afterpay integration, positioning the platform as the first hotel and holiday park booking engine to offer multiple buy-now-pay-later options alongside traditional payment methods.
