Visual Matrix Acquires LodgingControls as Part of Strategic Expansion to Provide the Latest in PMS Efficiency
This acquisition will enable hoteliers to further streamline operations and improve employee productivity to meet growing guest expectations.
Visual Matrix, an industry-leading hotel property management PMS software company,has today announced its acquisition of LodgingControls, Inc., (LCI) a nationally recognized housekeeping productivity software that allows hoteliers and staff to work smarter, faster and better in meeting their business and guest needs. As a member of the ASG hospitality family, Visual Matrix’s all-encompassing PMS with the LCI integration is set to provide labor-strapped hoteliers with a fully integrated set of tools needed to deliver continued high-service quality, enhanced guest satisfaction and maximum revenue-earning potential.
With the acquisition comes a seamless integration of Visual Matrix technology with LCI’s Mobile Operating Platform (MOP). This award-winning housekeeping solution is capable of streamlining tasks and boosting the productivity of staff across a hotel’s operation. LCI serves as the go-to efficiency-enhancing tool for a range of hotel brands including La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham and Clarion Pointe by Choice Hotels. MOP features advanced automated task management providing employees and managers with instant insight into what and when tasks need to be completed. Key functions include:
Streamline common tasks- common requests, maintenance, room status change, time tracking, etc.
Real-time staff assignments – Quick and easy access to information helps turn rooms, complete work orders and accommodate guests faster.
Instant guest & staff Communication: Includes a guest interaction texting system and Alexa integration to maximize methods to meet guest needs.
Staff Safety –MOP offers an advanced panic button functionality. During an emergency, staff need to only press a button on their personal device to instantly begin recording audio and video while automatically alerting response personnel.
The MOP housekeeping tool is accessible on any Wi-Fi enabled device and allows seamless communication between employee teams by allowing staff to instantly create or update tasks related to maintenance, preventative maintenance, guestroom cleaning status, special guest requests and more. MOP remains available as a standalone solution and does integrate with many PMS platforms which will now include Visual Matrix. Visual Matrix customers can look forward to preferred pricing on MOP and will not pay a Visual Matrix Integration fee. Independent MOP customers will also be offered special pricing if they want to switch to Visual Matrix PMS. All current negotiated pricing for MOP and Visual Matrix remains the same.
