What do you like most?
Updates in rates, room availability etc. reflect quickly. Some users report that customer support is good, but others mention delays, general responses, or issues not being solved cleanly. For me always amazing.
SiteMinder connects to many OTAs, GDS, booking platforms etc.
This means you can distribute inventory broadly and maximise reach.
Provides dashboards and analytics that help you see which channels are performing best, yield rules, pricing insights etc. This helps with revenue management decisions.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
Initial setup & integrations Mapping room types, rate plans, channels properly requires care. If the PMS or CRS has quirks, or if you have many rate plans or custom offerings, integration and setup can take time.
For smaller hotels or properties with lower volumes, the subscription/licensing/service fees may be significant. The ROI must be clearly weighed.
While there are good reporting tools, some reviews say certain reports are missing (e.g. consolidated reports for multiple properties, more detailed custom reporting) and that some reporting features are basic.
As with any cloud‑based system: if internet connectivity is unreliable, delays or sync issues could happen. Also, some channel connections may occasionally lag.
