What do you like most?
I like the flexibility of the software, i.e. the fact that you can get a free direct booking platform or you can choos to add useful functions based on your needs. I also appreciate the interface, it is intuitive and easy to use. Furthermore, I think the booking website the customers use to make their direct bookings looks impressive and is easy and intuitive to use for them. I also like the integration with Stripe, allowing me to garther payment information from the customers, then charging them. This greatly facilitates the payment process. I also think it's great that customer info is saved, so that when you have recurring customers that have booked via phone/e-mail it is very easy to make new bookings for them.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
I think this system works very well for the most part. One small detail (that may have a soution that I have not found): It should be possible to drag down, not only sideways, when adding a booking. In other words, it should be easier to add a multi-room booking, not just multi-night bookings. I know you can add rooms once the booking is made, but it could be even easier. Furthermore, more languages could be supported. Perhaps this is something that you could solve through a combination of artificially intelligent services and allowing your customers support you in the process through feedback on the quality of the various languages supported. I realize your main markets probably are very well supported by the languages you already provide, but this might be an affordable way of increasing your global presence. Another issue is the fact that your embeddable widgets don't work with all types of websites. Is there perhaps a way this could be changed, so it would work with websites created on more platforms, for example on Canva? I think the Stripe add-on, great as it is, could be further improved. What would be great is if you could instruct Freetobook to charge the customers automatically at a given time, for example at some given time on the day of departure. The system is already set up to not allowing double charges, so if another payment is registered it would be unproblematic to cancel the automatic payment.
