Mews Moves Into New Paris Office To Keep Pace With Rapid Growth Across France
The company’s move into Morning Trévise in the 9th arrondissement allows them to scale faster.
Mews, the industry-leading hospitality cloud, has opened a new office in the heart of Paris, building on the momentum of recently welcoming its 1,000th customer.
The office is called Morning Trévise, a historic building in the heart of Paris – the 9th arrondissement – that used to function as a Hôtel Particulier.
“French hoteliers continue to show a huge appetite for digital transformation, and we’re delighted that so many successful brands choose Mews to power their operations,” said Matt Welle, Mews CEO. “France is our biggest market, and the momentum shows no signs of slowing. This beautiful new office will give our growing French teams a stronger platform to meet the needs of these ambitious hoteliers.”
The move comes as Mews continues to expand its workforce, with over 1,200 employees now working for the hospitality technology company. Hiring more regional experts whose backgrounds span hospitality and technology is at the heart of their strategy, combining rich industry experience with irreplaceable local knowledge.
The company’s growth in the region is demonstrated in the recent data explored in the Mews Data Snap: Summer 2024 France, which revealed that Mews hoteliers in France saw an average 11% increase in RevPAR, year-on-year. This was accompanied by a rise in revenue garnered by selling additional spaces including meeting rooms and parking spots. Hoteliers generated an average of €10,788 in extra revenue over the summer through these services, an annual rise of 37%.
Although the principal office is in Paris, Mews retains a regular presence across the country with regular roadshows, events and meetings on the agenda. There are plenty of opportunities to meet the Mews team in France in the coming months. They will be at EquipHotel Paris from 3-7th November, as well as touring six key cities in their L’Apéro des Hôteliers roadshow.
