Mews Reaches 15% Market Penetration In The DACH Region As Hospitality Transformation Picks Up Pace
The PMS now powers 6,000 properties across Germany, Austria and Switzerland
Mews, the industry-leading hospitality cloud, has reached 15% market penetration of rooms within Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
This means that Mews now powers over 6,000 customers in the DACH region, an increase of 600% in the last 12 months, thanks to a combination of organic growth and the acquisition of HS3 Hotelsoftware in May.
“This is a really exciting time for hospitality in Germany, Austria and Switzerland,” said Richard Valtr, Mews Founder. “Hoteliers are embracing digital transformation and technology that creates more meaningful, tailored guest experiences, and Mews is at the heart of this change. I’m deeply proud of our incredible DACH team, who continue to deliver on ambitious growth targets.”
Mews serves a wide range of customers across the region. This includes multi-property brands like JustStay, Revier Hospitality Group, ipartment, Hey Lou, Fettehenne Hotels and Mercure Hotel MOA Berlin, as well as leading independent hotels like Paulinenhof and Hotel Oderberger.
Part of Mews’ success in the region is because of its ability to continually develop and release new products and features. Significant new updates for the market include improvements to rebates and invoicing, streamlining and automating processes.
Mews Booking Engine is a critical product for many DACH hotels, as it allows them to easily manage and sell inventory from their own website and increase direct bookings. The option for guests to pay by SEPA is another important, newly introduced feature.
Martin Kemmer, Founder and CEO at Hey Lou HOTELS, said: "With Mews, we’ve created a hotel experience that’s fully digital without losing the personal touch. Everything runs seamlessly – from online check-in and room access to automated payments – which means our team can spend more time connecting with guests instead of being stuck behind a desk. It’s the perfect foundation for scaling a modern hospitality brand like Hey Lou HOTELS.”
