What do you like most?
I have personally implemented this App in several hotels, and what stands out is how intuitive and easy it is to use.It doesn't matter, really, what language the staff speaks or doesnt, or if they are friends with modern tech or not - this app catches on in no time.From a Housekeeper's point of view, it is easy to understand, easy to use without an overload of unnecessary steps, and saves so much time - one glance at your tasklist and you know what to do, what is available, what is prioritised. What bed setup to do , if there are any additional requests. No digging and no confusion, what is clearly reflected in the efficiency of the teams.Another plus is how easy it is to create a Maintenance task, or report Lost&Found. Nothing goes unnoticed anymore. We had a competing app in one property before, and the process of reporting maintenance issues was so overcomplicated people were sometimes forced to skip it in the day rush. In Sweeply it's easy and efficient.From a Maintenance point of view - having maintenance tasks reported / subscribed so you are informed in real time - it is a great improvement in workflow. Easy to have control over and plan + prioritise workload. You can create hashtags to be able to filter the type of tasks with one click.From the Reception perspective - you can so clearly see what is going on in the whole hotel, What is available, what rooms are being done at the moment, who refused service, what rooms are being fixed. One click to let Housekeepers know to prioritise certain tasks or arrival. Easy seeing who is working where, easy task broadcasting for any request the guest in front of you has communicated.From a managerial perspective - life just gets better. Of course having an overview of the hotel or multiple properties, being able to adjust and communicate through actions in the app itself and comments saves so much time. With every department in the hotel using Sweeply communication is improved, we are sure no info or comment goes unnoticed, like it happens in endless chats and logs. Being able to go back in dates to check what was going on on a specific day, go to the future dates to schedule, create serial tasks and rules for whatever needs to be cleaned/repaired/followed up with. Tracing time it takes to perform certain tasks gives you and overview of your staff efficiency - sure - but there is another side to it - seeing how much time certain task take in general lets you monitor how you plan the day for Housekeeping staff and if the workload is fair - and it needs to be fair and doable if your focus is quality and not quantity.In task assigning it's easy to divide work fairly, It's a smooth process and takes the Housekeeping Manager no time. You can of course assign work for future days also (like weekend). And the assigned work prioritises itself on employees' task lists, so there are no more doubts of what do I start with and what is next.You can create as many areas in your hotel as needed, group them however you like, and it is great that Sweeply allows it - the convenient view for housekeeping is rarely what the PMS shows.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
Sweeply has impressed me from the beginning (which was years ago) with how they as creators of this tool actually listen to your needs. They are focused on understanding how your hotel operates, and offer settings and options that suit YOUR hotel best. As we know hotels even within one chain can have different operations and specific needs. I cannot count how many great functionalities were added when workflow called for it.Honestly as the App is at the moment, is so functional and efficient. Sweeply is always developing, and our needs have been communicated and acknowledged.
