What do you like most?
Working closely with Aven and digital marketing services to increase direct bookings has been such a great partnership over many, many years. The team is knowledgeable in both the hotel industry and PPC advertising, which is a great pairing in this unique industry. Easy to work with, and they do such a great job of ensuring we understand everything they are doing for us, and are always open to new ideas and approaches. I like that they are continuously making tweaks to our campaigns and giving thoughtful budget recommendations. We recently ran into an analytics issue on our website, and while they are not our primary source for fixing these types of issues, they still provided support where they could - even if that was just being a second set of eyes and confirming that what we were noticing indeed needed a specialist's attention. We also use the CRS side of Aven and are always pleased with the level of service we receive, whether the question or "issue" is simple or more complex, they approach it with a high level of care and expertise. Support tickets are answered in a timely manner, and their chat tool is our favorite for troubleshooting. Everyone we interact with is knowledgeable and resourceful. They are truly an extension of our team, which is so helpful when it comes to being a smaller, growing brand! We're excited for what's to come with Aven Hospitality in the future!
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
The training courses that are available on their university portal could be updated or improved slightly. When taking the courses, I was completely new to CRS platforms, and the training felt a bit too complex, too quickly. I felt like I needed more intuitive starter courses to ease into things. They do offer amazing customer support and endless help articles, so I have been able to build on the foundation and feel supported, but the learning curve is definitely steeper than expected. Maybe helpful to have ongoing training modules or classes where "students" could have live support from an Aven expert over a 4-6 week period could be great!
