What do you like most?
Integration with Stayntouch is top notch where the systems communicate two way for group blocks. Ability to provide clients with a live link to look at status of event orders is a great function. Emailing directly from the system helps drive productivity. What an easy, but extremely useful fix. Seems so simple, but most of the time, its tough to integrate. Overall, I wish this system had been around when I was starting as a Sales Manager before becoming a Director and then a General Manager many years ago. This system is literally the best overall system I have worked with in years. Funny that the largest brands have custom software by Oracle and other providers that costs far more, are difficult to manage, and take forever to truly master. EventTemple is an extremely valuable product that outshines every other competitor. Cost is reasonable, given the quality of the product itself. The ability to integrate with multiple providers really helps ensure that the system offers everything you could possibly ask for. With that being said, I would purchase it again, but would love the option of further customizing the software.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
Automatic posting seems difficult to customize. Unable to map items in order (i.e Food/Bev, Room Rental, Service charge, and then tax everything). Otherwise, the breakdowns are easy to map except for the order. The way our system is set up you have to adjust or correct a posting. Unable to void, which should be an option when simply trying to remove an incorrect posting. This is the single most frustrating item, as correcting is not as easy as it should be. Given that I was the administrator, I don't recall that I could set up differently, but I should be able to use a voiding system. When using email system, should be able to incorporate more than one email due to team managing certain clients. It defaults to only one email user. This limits the ability for teams to manage certain clients. Offer option of sending out an implementation specialist. While we did it and we did it well, there were several hiccups (minor, but still hiccups).
