What do you like most?
- Easy and quick to make event orders for my team
- Can customize the event orders for the needs of each department
- Fairly easy to navigate the system once you know where items are located within the program
- Easy to input and track leads
- Like the calendar view for quick glance for meeting room availability, like that we can add additional internal notes to the calendar
- Like that our clients have their own portal to sign documents, view documents.
- Like that the floorplan program has been integrated into Tripleseat and can save floorplans in each booking. We like that we can reuse previous floorplans to start new templates and not have to start from scratch. However, we have found that our floorplans are not to scale even though we provided all the dimensions of our rooms.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
- Wish that the original onboarding was handled in a different manner. Would be beneficial to have one rep assigned to our account who managed us through each aspect of the integration.
- Menu integration was a challenge. Would have been beneficial to see other hotel accounts as samples to see how they input their menus. Since the integration, we have slowly changed all our menu layouts to better suit our needs.
- The hotel integration to Opera/Oracle has not worked properly for a year. Still not working. Tripleseat team members have been pleasant and helpful but at the end of the day, the system does not fully integrate to our hotel CRM and thankfully we only have 33 rooms and can look at both systems on a regular basis to ensure that rooms are blocked. However, this does mean that invoicing is usually wrong and so we invoice our clients through Opera not Tripleseat.
- Our payment system is not compatible currently with the Tripleseat offerings in Canada. So we cannot take payment through the system. We do track our payments so our clients can see their payments in their portal, but it does require twice the work as we must accept and process payments through Opera/Oracle.
- The 'discussions' aspect of the system is a bit clunky. Too many guests have issues of the emails going to their junk or not going through. We have definitely lost business to potential clients who did not receive our proposals in a timely manner due to this.
