Very user friendly and easy to adapt to with little to no learning curve. The customer service team and account managers are also genuinely receptive to hotel feedback and actively work to incorporate partner suggestions where possible. One of the biggest advantages of working with Tripleseat versus some of the larger event platforms is their flexibility and willingness to evolve the product alongside their hotel partners, rather than operating with a more rigid, one-size-fits-all system.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
Overall, the platform is very user friendly and easy to adapt to, but I think there’s still some opportunity around reporting and operational visibility. Better alerts on syncing errors would be really helpful, as those tend to happen at the individual event level and often aren’t caught until someone notices the discrepancy firsthand. It would also be great to have more flexibility in pace reporting by actual revenue month versus just the event start date, especially for groups overlapping multiple months where the revenue isn’t always reflected accurately in monthly pacing.

One area that could be improved is the client-facing process for linking ACH accounts. At times, it can feel a bit cumbersome and may require additional guidance from our team, particularly for clients who are less comfortable with technology. That said, what we truly appreciate is how receptive and proactive Tripleseat is when it comes to feedback. Their platform is constantly evolving, and they consistently work to refine and improve the smaller nuances that impact the user experience.

We are very pleased with Tripleseat as a sales & catering platform for The Chanler to receive leads, convert bookings to business, and then support the booking process with concise, user-friendly documents. We recently completed a property update with Christine DeBiasi, which was extremely beneficial as we approach a new season. Her insight and suggestions on how to improve our processes were "spot on" for this unique property.
We have now been working with Jackson Kamionek and Sara Otto on an upgrade for customized floor plans. We look forward to receiving and working with the floor plan program.
Tripleseat University is a wonderful program for onboarding a new employee.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
The customized floor plan process has been a bit of a frustration in that this historic mansion property has so many nuances that the property measurements have been a bit of a challenge to complete. I would recommend a service to have a local TS representative come out to the property and take the necessary measurements and photos. With our location so close to the corporate office, we would have paid an additional fee if someone were able to come out here and obtain all the necessary information on our behalf. This is not our area of expertise, and it has slowed the process down.

This is a great web-based application and easy to implement for multiple hotels, revenues, etc. There is also ability to add custom fields in bookings which can be useful for different use cases. If I could give one piece of advice to a hotelier considering Tripleseat, it would be to fully commit to using the platform across your entire events and group sales operation. The more you centralize your leads, communications, contracts, and room blocks in Tripleseat, the more value you’ll get from its workflows, reporting, and automation. It can replace a lot of manual processes and disconnected tools, but only if you lean in and let it become your single source of truth. Once your team gets comfortable with it, you’ll see how much smoother the guest experience becomes and how much time you save behind the scenes.
