I love the calendar view and the clean, easy-to-use layout. The how-to videos and webinars are awesome for learning new features and getting team members up to speed.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
We’ve run into a few small integration hiccups here and there, but their support team is always quick to help and get things sorted out. Overall, we’re really happy with Tripleseat and would definitely recommend it to anyone running events!

What do you dislike or think could be improved?
The training could be expanded to provide test inputs ( dummy scenarios) of events and group blocks to learn the best practices with guidance from the system as to the correct practices. For example, provide an imaginary event or events to input that will test your knowledge and offer guidance on the producing quality leads, reservations, BEO's, etc. So much time is wasted in not doing the proper thing when inputting events or group bookings.
It would also be great if the software carried forward common data that needs to be populated in more than one place in the development of a quality document. Simple things like carrying forward the Group Code, the Customers name to the Event etc.
I began using Tripleseat 11 months ago and I must admit the first 90 days were tough and laborious in that I rarely knew that I needed to be in the "Booking" to make even the smallest changes to events and lodging bookings. But through the trial and error and the repetitive use I quickly learned to always know where I was in the Program and not be wandering through the events and making changes that wouldn't stick as they needed to be inputted or changed in the actual "Booking". This was a big deal to me and as I have trained others to use the software it is one of the main things that I emphasize to my co-workers is how important it truly is to know where you are in the process at all times.
I did not come from the Hotel industry, but have been in the Hospitality Industry for 35 years as the owner of an Event Rental Company. The transition to Hotelier has been actually a pretty easy one in that it is pretty much the same concept, yet now I am only dealing with one property to produce, decorate, and manage all the different types of events. The addition of Merri for layouts to the Suite of software is a Great addition and Merri was very easy to learn as I had used a similar software in my Event Rental background for the last 2 decades.

I like how it helps my team with communication by connecting us within the discussion to a potential group/event. I find the Reports to being very helpful in tracking Prospect groups that may take a little longer to respond to proposals or in signing their contractual documents.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
I would like to have the option to Copy and Paste in the discussions area, in order to send multiple messages to a potential group or event. I would also like to see more automation in the system that would allow processes to go more smoothly.

The F&B minimum, which 95% of the time we don't use, will add itself back to the Invoice & Proposal every time I edit anything. It is annoying, but does not have any larger impact on event sales or group rentals.

I'd like to be able to easily rebuild our backend without losing everything. After years of different managers using different features, it feels clogged. Alysha has been wonderful in helping us untangle but I wish there was an easier way to start from scratch.

Guest portal is straight forward and typically I do not receive questions when sending the guest portal link to sign contracts or submit payments.
Highly appreciate read receipts when guest emails are opened and viewed. Communication tracking through Tripleseat is excellent.
Appreciate the ability to communicate with STAFF only through Tripleseat to discuss leads before replying to the customer. Lead page is easy to keep clean by seeing when comments have been added/communicated. Leads are easy to reinstate if the customer replies to initial information. Reporting is straight forward and easy to navigate.
I have been able to make changes to the settings, update templates, and add materials for communication easily.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
Personalized training would be appreciated. I am typically sent to the training/video portal, but not all of the training applies to how I use Tripleseat. 30 minutes of an hour video might apply to how I use the platform.
Sometimes I do not have time to walk through instructions sent to me to fix issues. Hopefully this will change when my internal structure at my company grows.

This is a great web-based application and easy to implement for multiple hotels, revenues, etc. There is also ability to add custom fields in bookings which can be useful for different use cases. Their support team is awesome and very prompt. They helped us quickly build an integration for our mutual customers helping enhance the use of both of our systems. Overall a great product and I always look at the support when I pick a system and theirs is solid.

Tripleseat has not yet had their customer support processes certified by Hotel Tech Report. We recommend referencing the GCSC rubric during your demo call to make sure that this vendor has strong processes in place to support customers.
