What do you like most?
GauVendi gives us exactly the flexibility we need to successfully manage and sell our highly diverse portfolio of more than 300 apartments across around 70 different locations. Our accommodations vary significantly in terms of size, location, style, facilities and price range – from affordable studios and centrally located apartments to spacious premium chalets. A traditional booking engine based solely on rigid accommodation categories cannot fully represent this diversity. With GauVendi, guests can focus on the features that are genuinely important to them instead of having to understand and compare countless different apartment categories. The intelligent matching logic then helps us identify and allocate the most suitable available accommodation based on the selected preferences. This creates a much more personalized and intuitive booking experience for our guests while allowing us to present the full variety of our portfolio in a clear and structured way. At the same time, the solution enables us to use our inventory more efficiently and retain greater flexibility when allocating individual apartments. This is particularly valuable for a large and complex accommodation provider like us, where many units share similar characteristics but are not completely identical. Another major strength is the collaboration with the GauVendi team. The support is personal, responsive and strongly solution-oriented. They take the time to understand our specific business model and its challenges, listen carefully to our feedback and work closely with us to find suitable solutions. We truly feel that the team is interested in our success and in continuously developing the product together with its users.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
Due to the system’s flexibility and depth, the initial setup and configuration can be quite time-consuming, especially for a large and diverse portfolio like ours. Our recommendation is to clearly define your sales strategy, accommodation structure and desired booking logic before starting the GauVendi setup. Investing this time and strategic thought at the beginning definitely pays off in the long run. Throughout the entire implementation process, the GauVendi team provides highly personal and hands-on support. They help configure the system as effectively as possible for the individual business model and continue to work closely with us whenever questions or challenges arise.
