What do you like most?
As a Restaurant CRM platform, and table management tool, it's a very good product, enabling solid performance with integrated marketing, profile management, revenue management tools, inventory optimization, and many other features, e.g. consolidated guest feedback. 7Rooms puts you in charge of your venue marketing data, and is the key to unlocking restaurant revenue management in your venues, and will help operators to have a clearer understanding your guest patterns of "Who buys what, and when?" 7Rooms allows you to add dining to guestroom Reservation flow, enables channel management for venues, generate segmented targeted promotions, create rate hurdles for high demand periods, enforce payments policy, reduce no-shows, implement Inventory controls to maximize duration. And you own the data, support decisions with data not guess work. 7R is also a valuable tool to support compliance in guest allergen management.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
TIghter integrations with POS vendors, as the reporting in 7R is highly dependent on strong a POS integration as a standard. Would also want to see more structure as an "end of day" close down process to complement the very strong pre-shift and during shift processes. Would like to see an evoloution of the forecasting tools to have a better projection of forecasted revenues, as currently only possible with a forecast cover projection. Would also like to see 7R develop a market share reporting platform that enables them to log their footprint in key locations and deliver the equivalent of a market penetration index report that allows venues to benchmark their performance against more comparable venues in an anonymised reporting framework, similar to the RGI / MPI reporting in STR for hotels. Otherwise, reporting performance can be slow, but as an evolving product, it's a great tool to help you understand your guest more effectively at a scale that works well for enterprise customers. Would like to see reporting tag filters added to all reports, the ability to track lost business reasons more effectively, and have a better ability to segment guests via tags for communications linked to shift patterns, and hotel guest status as in house or as a walk in customer.
