Cloudbeds and Oolio Partner to Connect Hotel Stays, F&B and On-Property Revenue
Cloudbeds, the hospitality management system built for ambitious hoteliers, today announced a partnership with Oolio, the Australian hospitality technology provider powering more than 22,000 venues, to better connect accommodation and food and beverage operations across hotels, resorts, pub groups and multi-venue properties. By integrating Oolio’s Bepoz, Swiftpos and Idealpos platforms directly with Cloudbeds, the partnership connects the systems behind the stay with the systems behind on-site spend, giving operators a more unified foundation for managing guest activity and the revenue it generates.
The partnership brings together Cloudbeds’ platform with Oolio’s established footprint across Australian hospitality, extending the connection between rooms and food and beverage to businesses with multiple outlets and revenue centers. For operators, that means less fragmented billing across the property and a more efficient way to capture and manage guest spend throughout the stay.
Through the direct API integration, hospitality operators can:
Connect onsite spending to the guest stay: Post eligible food and beverage charges from restaurants, bars and other outlets directly to the guest’s Cloudbeds folio in real time.
Verify guests before posting charges: Confirm guest and room information directly from the POS to support more accurate room charging.
Reduce manual processing: Remove the need for teams to re-enter transaction information between separate property management and point-of-sale systems.
Reduce billing errors during busy service periods: Automate handoffs that would otherwise depend on manual entry and reconciliation.
Support multiple hospitality environments: Connect Cloudbeds with Bepoz, Swiftpos and Idealpos across independent hotels, resorts, pub groups and multi-venue operations.
“Hospitality businesses are becoming increasingly diverse, with accommodation, restaurants, bars and other venues all contributing to the guest experience and the economics of the property,” said Sebastien Leitner, Vice President of Partnerships at Cloudbeds. “Our partnership with Oolio connects more of those operations behind the scenes, while expanding the technology available to Cloudbeds customers across Australia. It’s about giving operators greater flexibility to run complex hospitality businesses without creating more complexity for their teams.”
“Hotels and resorts need their technology to work together just as closely as their teams do,” said Kris Satish, Group CEO, at Oolio. “By connecting Oolio directly with Cloudbeds, we’re helping operators remove manual steps between accommodation and food and beverage, while making it easier to manage the guest experience across the entire property.”
