Cloudbeds has single-handedly changed the way we do business forever. The system has improved our guest experience with the addition of Whistle, freed up our time to be more present with our guests, and truly add a level of user-friendliness for staff that we have never had with any other booking software. Where it once took months for a new staff member to be able to be "off book" so to speak with our old software, it is taking mere hours to a few days for staff members to become Cloudbeds-literate. Cloudbeds University is helpful but the software is so intuitive and common sense that anyone can feel comfortable quickly. The multiple integrations and addons were the main reason we went with Cloudbeds to begin with, and we are now planning our future changes around the Cloudbeds PMS to facilitate our staff's tasks. As it makes the work so much easier we were able to cut down on the needed staff at front desk. With the current staff shortages in our area, this is a huge weight off our management's shoulders. One thing that should also not be overlooked is the surprisingly low downtime. For a cloud system, we were expecting a lot more maintenance time and all the problems that come with these. Fortunately, while there is regular maintenance downtime, it's always short and at times that do not disrupt our hotel's activities. 24/7 Live chat support has been very good so far. Issues can be resolved usually fairly quickly. We are also using Cloudbeds Payments, which streamlined the whole payments and deposits process, making it much easier for both our guests and our staff. Pay-By-Link is also very useful, especially for work-related stays. The Whistle integration is also very good to keep in touch ...

Notes should be able to be entered directly from the calendar. Sometimes you need to click a little bit to much to get what’s needed. Overbooking setting should be able to be customized per room. Data insight still need a lot work. Cash drawer report is confusing. Arrival report does not give the data what is required for my property. Sometimes the data in the data insight report is not properly updated.currency setting does not give enough digits. Booking engine customization is not easy. Credit card details should not be deleted after 14 days it should be at least 45 days in the system. Rate checker does not consider the promotion within the ota, so it is kind of useless if customer sees that the rate that is mentioned on the rate checker does not match with rates he can see in the ota. Inventory information is limited to a specific time frame, competitive shop is limited to a specific time frame, room nights, revenue and ADR cannot be found in 1 report per day. I could go on and on with the issues with this PMS. Rate shop doesn't show lowest rate so it's useless if I run a promotion on an OTA. All of the items we have advised the team at Cloudbeds of have not been fixed and we have not been notified of when any of the changes we have requested would be fixed. We are unable to do our jobs with this PMS as it has failed to meet even a basic hotel standard PMS. We should be able to pull a report showing transient, group, comp room nights, room revenue, ADR, RevPar, Occupancy all in 1 report. We should be able to pull a report of group allocations easily.
