Flexkeeping Introduces New Tool to Predict Room Upgrades and Streamline Planning
The new automation analyzes overbookings, predicts likely room upgrades, and gives housekeeping teams clearer visibility into upcoming workloads.
Flexkeeping, a Mews company, has introduced Upgrade Predictions, a new feature designed to help hotels plan housekeeping more accurately by identifying likely room upgrades before they happen.
Last-minute upgrades and overbookings often disrupt staffing plans and create blind spots in daily forecasting. Flexkeeping’s new automation analyzes confirmed reservations, detects when a room type is overbooked, and predicts which reservations are likely to be upgraded—displaying those predicted upgrades directly inside the weekly housekeeping dashboard.
The result is a more complete and stable picture of upcoming cleans, making it easier for housekeeping teams to prepare the right staffing levels and avoid last-minute surprises.
Upgrade Predictions also supports front-office teams by suggesting suitable upgrade paths based on real-time availability and each hotel’s defined hierarchy of room types.
“Hotels have become experts at reacting to constant change, but that shouldn’t mean operating in the dark,” says Flexkeeping Co-Founder and CPO, Aljaž Ketis. “Upgrade Predictions is another step toward a future where hotels can forecast with accuracy, automate what used to be guesswork, and give their teams more control over their day. It’s the type of innovation that lifts the entire operation.”
This feature is part of Flexkeeping’s ongoing effort to bring smarter forecasting, automation, and operational clarity to hotel teams. It is now available for all Flexkeeping users.
