Hoteza, a leading technology solutions provider in the hospitality industry, has partnered with The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels Limited, owner and operator of luxury hotels under The Peninsula brand, to revolutionize the guest experience through a tailored in-room tablet solution. The collaboration has resulted in a seamless and bespoke digital experience that elevates the guest journey to unprecedented levels.

The Peninsula Hotels set the benchmark for exceptional hospitality and service, and while the company has a heritage of over 157 years, they have always been committed to innovation. The collaboration with Hoteza began with The Peninsula Istanbul and The Peninsula London projects, which opened in February and September 2023 respectively. Both partners were committed to the same goal of enhancing the guest experience through an innovative technology solution. Hoteza rose to the occasion by providing a custom application for tablets, offering a wide array of functions including room control, TV and audio system control, guest e-book, room service ordering, housekeeping service ordering, messaging and notification systems, and other interactive features.

This unique experience is showcased in the guestrooms, where traditional switches and keypads have been replaced by sleek interactive bedside panels. Through this solution, guests can control almost everything in the room - from lighting and TV, air conditioning and curtains, to the audio system and more.

Hoteza also implemented an HSIA (High-Speed Internet Access) solution that enables flexible distribution of the Internet bandwidth among all users and offers authorization for Internet access based on the guest name, SMS codes, or passcode. The integration prowess of Hoteza extended to various other hotel systems, including Shiji PMS, the HotSOS task management system from Amadeus, and GRMS based on HSH’s own architecture.

Additionally, the centralized content management system enables guests to access relevant information, effortlessly enhances overall guest satisfaction.
