ISS Norway Digitizes Outsourced Housekeeping With Flexkeeping

ISS Facility Services Norway has implemented Flexkeeping’s housekeeping management platform across key partner hotels, replacing manual processes with digital workflows to improve efficiency and service transparency.
Before adopting Flexkeeping, ISS teams relied heavily on spreadsheets, phone calls, and manual room-status coordination. The shift to real-time digital updates now allows room attendants and supervisors to see progress instantly, assign tasks more accurately, and reduce unnecessary admin. It also provides a better flow of communication between ISS and their hotel partners.
“We wanted to eliminate manual routines and move away from Excel-based planning,” said Hanna Gjerde, Business Development Manager at ISS Norway. “And by showing customers exactly what we've done, it builds more trustworthy relationships.”
ISS reports that daily opening routines for executive housekeepers have been reduced from an hour to roughly 20 minutes. For customers, Flexkeeping’s data dashboards allow ISS to validate workload distribution, provide transparent documentation, and demonstrate clear value.
The rollout supports ISS Norway’s broader effort to modernize its housekeeping offering and expand data-driven operations across more partners.
