Simple Booking goes 'AI First'
CRS natively connected to AI agents
Simple Booking Accelerates AI Transformation of Hotel Distribution with Release of MCP Connectors
Simple Booking reinforces its 'AI First' positioning as its CRS becomes natively connectable with the world's leading AI agents
Simple Booking, the Central Reservation System developed by QNT Srl (Gruppo Zucchetti) and trusted by over 7,000 hospitality properties across more than 75 countries, today announces the worldwide general availability — live and in production — of its MCP (Model Context Protocol) connector suite, available to clients, partners, and hotel groups.
With this release, Simple Booking becomes one of the first hotel distribution platforms in the world to make its ecosystem natively integratable with next-generation AI agents. The MCP connectors are already connected, operational, and tested with the leading AI agents on the market — from Anthropic Claude to OpenAI ChatGPT — and are compatible with a broad range of platforms, including multi-agent systems and next-generation orchestration environments. This milestone consolidates a strategic 'AI First' positioning built through years of targeted investment in emerging technologies.
The journey began in March 2025, when Simple Booking unveiled its first suite of AI tools integrated into the backoffice at ITB Berlin — spanning automatic translation of hotel content, AI-driven image generation, an AI assistant, and assisted help features. The MCP connectors, presented one year later at the same ITB Berlin alongside additional tools — including an MCP for the Zucchetti Travel Data Lake — and immediately released in closed beta, represent the natural evolution of that roadmap.
Today, the Simple Booking MCP suite exposes approximately twenty tools covering a wide range of use cases: from natural-language querying of booking engine data — property information, rate plans, packages, real-time availability and live pricing — to destination-level tourism demand analysis and OTA rate parity verification. Additional tools are already in the release pipeline. Hotels, hotel groups, and hospitality professionals can now delegate to AI agents tasks that previously required manual data queries and dedicated technical expertise, unlocking the full value of their property’s information assets instantly.
Particular attention has been given to security and data protection. All access is governed by strict Access Control Lists (ACL) and OAuth authentication; no personal data leaves the platform, which operates in full compliance with GDPR.
“For over twenty years, our commitment has been to anticipate the technological shifts that genuinely matter to hoteliers. The release of MCP connectors is not a style exercise — it is a structural investment: we want our clients to be the first to benefit concretely from the new era of AI agents.”
