SiteMinder to Run Global Webinar Series with Insights From the Largest Consumer Research on Accommodation
The series, “How to Win Today’s Guest”, will be based on the key findings from SiteMinder’s Changing Traveller Report 2023
Over the course of two weeks, SiteMinder, the world’s leading open hotel commerce platform, will this month host a global webinar series to share insights from the world’s largest consumer research on accommodation. The series, “How to Win Today’s Guest”, will be based on the key findings from SiteMinder’s Changing Traveller Report 2023, the culmination of more than 10,000 traveler interviews conducted in July in 12 of the world’s largest tourist markets – Australia, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Mexico, Spain, Thailand, UK and USA.
SiteMinder’s webinar series will run in 11 countries from 10-19 October and has been designed to answer the most important questions about today’s traveler’s preferences, behaviours and perceptions, and their expectations when it comes to their next stay. Among these, SiteMinder’s Changing Traveller Report 2023 uncovered that, for over 75 percent of travelers globally, the fundamental role of accommodation has changed since last year. Additionally, four common characteristics can be found among almost all of the world’s travelers, irrespective of their location.
Speaking on one of these characteristics, Karen Marvel, Director of Sales & Marketing at Vomo Island Resort Fiji, says, “Travelers, more than ever before, want to be stopped in their tracks by the incredible. The by-product of ongoing pent-up demand, they are seeking out a stay that not only resonates with the destination’s soul, but also becomes a unique and cherished memory.”
Importantly for hoteliers, SiteMinder’s webinar series will share advice on how to practically turn the insights from the company’s research into strategies for unlocking more revenue, bookings and growth at their hotel.
During each webinar, which will feature local hotel industry experts, SiteMinder speakers will discuss:
The current appetite for travel and how travelers are adapting to economic impacts
- Where the current incremental revenue opportunities with hotel guests lie
- The impact of technology on a guest’s booking and onsite experience
- The importance and power of personal connection with hotel guests.
