What do you like most?
Pricepoint has made revenue management much easier for us as a hostel in a seasonal destination with highly fluctuating demand. Before using it, most of our pricing decisions were manual and based on intuition, especially when balancing dorm beds and private rooms. Even though we are still early into using the platform, the AI-driven pricing suggestions, forecast insights, and automation already help us react to demand quicker, make faster rate decisions, optimize our pricing, and save time weekly. The interface is simple to navigate while still offering advanced tools for planning, pricing strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and overall revenue optimization. We have also tried alternative revenue management systems before, and one thing we appreciate with Pricepoint is that it keeps the user interface easy to understand without feeling limited or like we are missing important functionality. It manages to stay user-friendly while still offering powerful tools and detailed reporting. One thing we particularly like is being able to compare performance with previous periods and clearly see whether our goals are being met. It has also improved our operational workflow by making pricing adjustments faster and more organized instead of constantly manually checking occupancy, competitor pricing, and demand trends across different dates. The reports are also very helpful for understanding trends and performance more clearly, and it is useful being able to have multiple team members working on the same property within the platform. Another thing we appreciate is that the platform helps bring more structure and consistency to our pricing decisions instead of constantly reacting manually day by day. Having centralized reports, forecasts, and pricing tools in one place makes it much easier to review performance as a team, track progress toward revenue goals, and make adjustments with more confidence. It has definitely helped simplify weekly revenue management tasks and overall planning. A concrete example is that in previous years, during high-demand dates, we were often selling beds for lower prices when we realistically could have sold them for much higher. The system now helps us identify those opportunities earlier and react faster to market demand instead of relying purely on manual adjustments and intuition.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
So far the platform has been easy to use and the knowledge base is well organized, free, and easy to understand. We are still early into using all the features, so most of the learning curve is simply about putting more time into exploring the system in depth and refining our pricing strategy further.
