What do you like most?
As a small independent property, we needed something we could run ourselves without a dedicated tech team, and Sirvoy delivers. Setup was straightforward, the channel manager keeps our OTA and direct availability in sync so we've stopped worrying about double bookings, and the built-in booking engine drives commission-free reservations through our own site. The data we can export has been genuinely valuable too — analysing it let us introduce minimum-stay rules on long weekends, which has both cut our workload and increased our revenue. Fair pricing for our size, and support has been responsive and helpful throughout.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
A few things would take it further for us: • A proper API to our data — especially pricing. We already export the data manually and it's been valuable (it's how we built our long-weekend minimum-stay strategy), but direct API access would let us price each channel differently with far less effort, and layer our own AI on top for pricing and occupancy recommendations — even help automate the configuration. • Channel-aware guest follow-ups. OTA bookings mask the guest's email so we can't contact those guests, but we'd love to send follow-ups to our direct bookings. Being able to switch automated follow-up emails on per channel — direct on, OTA off — would help us build repeat business without breaking any channel rules. • Change monitoring and alerts across channels. We currently run our own tool to watch how our rooms show up in Google Hotel results — it would be great to have that built into Sirvoy, and extended to the OTAs. Booking.com and Expedia sometimes change our prices and options (like whether breakfast is included) without any notice, and email alerts whenever a channel alters our rates or inclusions would save real time and frustration.
