What do you like most?
SiteMinder is a fully functional and comprehensive platform. I really enjoy using SiteMinder compared to the channel managers I’ve worked with in the past. One of the features I appreciate most is the flexibility to customize rates and occupancy-based pricing for each OTA individually. Additionally, the booking engine allows us to create multiple rate plans and highlight special promotions, making our direct booking website much more attractive to potential guests. Since implementing SiteMinder, I’ve achieved a 200% increase in direct website bookings. In fact, direct website bookings now account for 10% of our total bookings, compared to bookings from OTAs. That’s an incredibly impressive result, especially when you consider that many other hotels generate only around 3% of their bookings through their own websites.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
It would be even better if SiteMinder had a local support team. However, the international support team is already doing a pretty good job.
