What do you like most?
As a large hotel group, we particularly appreciate HotelFriend's consistently individualized approach. It's a true all-in-one solution from a German provider, guaranteeing us not only premium German-speaking support but also complete legal certainty through full inspection for Germany and Austria. The accounting functions are excellently implemented, allowing for seamless invoice splitting and editing, and the smooth DATEV interface is a real game-changer for our entire department. Furthermore, the implementation of the Booking Engine Pro has noticeably increased our direct bookings, while event management is made extremely simple and efficient through the use of packages. Despite the size of our group, we benefit from customized reports and individual software development, with the team's personal on-site visits underscoring the exceptional service quality. Even for smaller hotels, the system offers an unbeatable package with its combination of PMS, channel manager, and direct booking tools.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
The software offers an enormous range of functions, which, while very powerful, requires a certain amount of training, especially for large corporations with complex structures. The learning curve is quite steep in the initial phase due to the many possibilities, which is why a structured onboarding process and the use of the offered on-site appointments are absolutely essential to optimally configure all individual features from the outset. Looking ahead, we would like to see the library for custom reports further standardized so that we can access very specific datasets even faster without having to request individual customization each time.
