What do you like most?
Duve is a highly customizable platform, and one of its greatest strengths is the willingness of the team to listen to customer feedback and explore new development opportunities. This collaborative approach creates confidence that the product will continue to evolve alongside customer needs. The platform also offers extensive language support, making it suitable for international hotel groups operating across multiple markets. In addition, the scheduled messaging functionality provides a high degree of flexibility through advanced targeting options. For example, messages can be triggered based on specific guest conditions, such as sending communications only after check-in or only to guests staying two nights or longer. These configuration options allow hotels to create highly relevant and personalized guest journeys while maintaining operational efficiency. Combined with the platform's flexibility and multilingual capabilities, this makes Duve a strong solution for guest communication and engagement.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
The user management, templating capabilities, Guest App setup, and scheduled messaging functionality in Duve require improvement to better support organizations managing multiple hotels. Currently, the platform allows customization, but it is not designed in a scalable way for multi-property operations. User roles are quite limited and do not support multiple permission levels. As a result, platform administration and maintenance remain largely centralized at head office level, rather than being shared between head office and individual hotel teams with clearly defined responsibilities. The templating functionality presents a similar challenge. Templates can only be created on a hotel level, rather than at a brand level. While content can be copied between hotels, only the English version is transferred, requiring users to manually recreate all translations for scheduled messages. This significantly increases maintenance efforts and creates room for inconsistencies. The same applies to the Guest App. Instead of being able to copy and manage brand-level templates, users can only duplicate an entire hotel setup. This increases the risk of human error, as links, content, and property-specific details can easily be overlooked during the update process. Overall, the current setup lacks the centralized governance and scalable template management needed for efficient multi-hotel operations.
