What do you like most?
It's a clear system to use, shows good competitor rate info at a glance and provides effective rate suggestions. You can choose to select a date range to update all days or you can update them by day. It gives you the option to enter your own rate too. There is also the option to turn autopilot on which allows you to set parameters for the system to work within and then it updates automatically. This option would work well in a market with fairly similar properties and demand periods (city centres or airports for example. This is the first year that we have used Happyhotel and, despite this being a very strong staycation Summer in the UK with incredible weather, it gave the confidence to push rates where perhaps in the past the human element may have prevented such a push (the price vs quality debate).
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
It could possibly be better at understanding future demand that is yet to appear (ie. For the following Summer, where we know demand will be strong, it tends to initially price too low to get the market moving). It would also be great to have an, at a glance, area where we can see our lowest publicly available rates too (for instance in a sale period).
