What do you like most?
They use a template to build your site- visually it looks good. The benefits really stopped there. We saw no increase in conversions or site visits.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
Two years ago, we hired Vizergy to build our website. We specifically chose them because they claimed to have expertise with a synxis connection. Vizergy listened to our requirements and promised to deliver. We paid them a significant amount of money each month, which was more than the cost of a luxury car. However, it took them almost a year to deliver a functioning website. When it was time to connect with Synxis, we discovered that Vizergy had overstated their experience. They were unable to offer a functioning PMS system and instead, we had to make an expensive connection with a third-party PMS. While they were able to get the Synxis reservation booking engine working on the website, it did not function properly, and they were unable to fix the issues. We had to switch to another reservation system, and Vizergy charged us another $700+ to make the new system function. When you pay Vizergy to build your website, you do not own it, and you have limited editing capability. If you want to make changes beyond a certain limit per month, you have to pay them for it, even though you could have easily made these changes yourself if you had control. Vizergy claimed to include SEO services in their package, but they did nothing each month to improve our website's SEO. They used less than 40 of the 70 keywords per page, and some pages had no SEO tags at all. When we had a new website built by another company, they were shocked at how poorly Vizergy's site had been maintained. We gave Vizergy several chances to make things right, but they only responded with generic corporate answers, all refusing. They even tried to charge us $500 for the website files to rebuild the site, even though you do not own the website, and it's just a Vizergy-specific template built on their system. We paid Vizergy a significant amount over 24 months, which was a terrible business decision. I'm writing this review to warn others not to make the same mistake. Our website traffic decreased when we used Vizergy, and we saw no benefits. We're happy to say that we'll have an extra $12,000 this year now that we've moved on.
