What do you like most?
The system is user-friendly and makes our daily hotel operations easier and more convenient. Reports can be generated quickly, especially when reviewing historical data from previous years and checking OTB (On the Books) performance. This allows us to compare results, monitor booking trends, and better understand overall business performance. The rate plan connection and mapping process are straightforward, even when managing different room types, rates, and promotions. Opening and closing sales is also simple, allowing us to manage availability and respond to changes in demand without a complicated process. Connecting with new travel agents and distribution partners is another useful feature, as the setup is easy to follow and does not require too many steps. The system also provides a clear overview of our distribution activities, making it convenient to check information and manage daily tasks. Another positive point is the support team, who are responsive, knowledgeable, and always willing to help whenever we encounter issues or have questions. Their assistance makes it easier to resolve problems and continue our work smoothly. Overall, the system is reliable, practical, and suitable for hotel sales and distribution operations. It offers useful features that support both daily tasks and business performance reviews.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
Overall, the reporting function in SiteMinder is already very useful, convenient, and easy to use. However, one improvement I would like to suggest is adding a more detailed production breakdown when generating an overall report for all travel agents. It would be very helpful if the report could show each agent's production by rate plan and room type, including total room nights and revenue, all within the same report. This would allow us to easily identify which rate plans and room types are performing well for each agent and compare their performance more effectively. Currently, if we want to review this information, we need to filter or sort the data individually for each agent, which can be quite inconvenient, especially when managing multiple accounts and reviewing monthly production. Having additional reporting option would make performance analysis easier and provide better insights into each agent's contribution. It would also help us understand which promotions are generating the most bookings, and which room types are preferred by different agents, allowing us to plan future promotions and distribution strategies more effectively and efficiently.
