What do you like most?
Cloudbeds covers all the functions a hotel needs and more. We've been working with it for 2 years already and we're very satisfied. The channel manager distributes smoothly. Also having the app on our phone that shows the most important info and allows doing basic actions fast its really a great thing. The Calendar view is very useful and offering a visual picture of the whole distribution within the hotel plus the ability to manage anything from there makes it very practical. I love the incredible amount of reports available that allowing us to see in all kind of different ways how the business is going, comparison between different time stamps, rooms, clients.. really everything we need and more. The whole interface is intuitive and easy to use, fas to learn and simple to teach the team, and for any question or doubt we ever had, the technical support has been fast, kind and effective. I also love the booking engine, it has a very clean design, it's simple and includes exactly what a guest wants when they book a room. The integration with google maps that sends gusts to this direct link helps having more independent reservations, which is very good for offering a better price with greater profit for us. In general, since we've started working with Cloudbeds we have everything we need in one place, and the flow of work in the hotel is much better than it used to be.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
The app is quite heavy and takes long to upload sometimes, one it's loaded it's velocity is fine though. More options for integration with local payment processors will make our whole experience significantly better, as in Peru global payment processors are not available, and the one integration that is available does't parter with small businesses. this has been a very frustration limitation. Charging our gusts in advance is important for faster check in and for ensuring our policies are respected. A feature that would be very helpful is a notepad on the main dashboard to leave general notes for the receptionists to keep up with internal information. Another option I would love to have, and I know the team is already working on, is to have the option to vary rates with different cancellation conditions. Other than that, managing rates and availability is super easy and smooth.
