What do you like most?
What I like most about O’Rourke is that they understand our business and our market. We’ve been working with them for almost 10 years, and they’ve become a trusted extension of our team rather than just another marketing agency. They have a strong understanding of the hotel business and know how to use digital marketing to actually drive bookings and revenue, not just clicks and impressions. They manage our paid search, SEO and other digital marketing efforts with a focus on getting the right people to our website and ultimately converting them into guests. What I like most is that they understand that a hotel website needs to do more than look good. It needs to make it easy for guests to find information, understand what we offer and, most importantly, book a stay. They took the time to understand our property and what makes us different rather than putting us into a standard hotel website template. We were happy enough with the first website that we're now working with them on another website. I think that speaks for itself.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
There isn’t much I would change. Digital marketing is constantly changing, so there are always new opportunities to explore, but O’Rourke has continued to adapt along with the industry. If anything, I’d like to see them continue to stay ahead of the curve with new technology and emerging opportunities in digital marketing. But overall, we’ve been very happy with the relationship and the results. Website projects are always a process, and there are inevitably a lot of decisions and revisions along the way. If anything, it would be great if the process moved along more quickly, but we understand that building a good website takes time and requires input from both sides. Overall, we've been very pleased with the websites O'Rourke has built for us and with the ongoing support they've provided.
