What do you like most?
I have had an excellent experience with Sojern over the years, with excellent sales results and visibility. I recommend it to all hotels. I didn't know about Sojern. It's an excellent company that helps you cut out OTAs because it costs much less and the customer's email address stays with you, whereas if you book through OTAs, the customer is never yours. The re marketing is excellent and the visibility is maximum, even for small hotels. You don't have to be a chain to use Sojern. just think how much a booking costs between 18 and 40% with Sojern much less and the customer management is yours. The monthly booking report they send is very clear. It's easy to manage, and if you need to make a change or cancellation, the system allows you to change each booking. In any case, the bookings almost always match the report. Of course, it can happen that a customer leaves early, so the change is made in the following month's report. There are many marketing solutions available, and everyone can choose the one they prefer. Visit-only, commission-based visibility, or listing on price comparison portals. Remember that your OTA dependency can be no more than 20%, and with Sojern, you'll be able to achieve this goal very quickly. Before Sojern, I relied on a marketing agency, but it wasn't working that well. Integrating Sojern with BookingEngine and the PMS is key to working well, achieving excellent revenue, and trying to reduce OTA and commission costs. It's hard to convince a hotel of the quality of the product Sojern offers. But trying it out, even for just a few months, is worth it and you won't regret it.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
The world changes like the seasons, always very quickly. I would like the banners to be changed autonomously and more quickly to capture more customers. Both images and videos are essential. I hope you can improve this aspect of the setup, which I think is always a bit tricky. You need to use different photos for each season or event. Support is in English. It would be ideal if it were in Italian, but for me it wasn't a problem as support by email and telephone has always been excellent.
