What do you like most?
What interests me most about OctoRate is the possibility of using a single management system to coordinate activities that, otherwise, would require the use of different tools. In managing tourist rentals, time is a crucial factor, especially when there are many bookings to follow. The centralization of information and the automation possibilities offered by a channel manager are therefore particularly interesting elements. During the initial phase, I had the opportunity to discuss with Klaudia, my sales contact, who provided me with useful advice to correctly set up the platform. Subsequently, thanks to collaboration with Vincenzo, we addressed the technical aspects related to the configuration of the structure. This initial assistance allowed me to approach the program with greater awareness of its potential. I expect that, once the learning phase is completed, OctoRate can help simplify various daily activities.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
I believe that one of the most interesting developments for the future concerns greater automation of administrative and operational procedures. I would like to manage the entire guest journey through a single system, from booking to the end of the stay. For example, it would be useful to automate more the sending of documentation requests, the verification of received data, the communication of necessary information for check-in, and the request for payment of any remaining amounts. A system capable of automatically signaling incomplete activities or missing information would allow intervention only when necessary. It would also be interesting to customize these procedures based on the characteristics of the structure. I believe that developing further automations would be a tangible advantage for those who want to manage multiple structures while maintaining high organizational standards and reducing repetitive activities.
