What do you like most?
Opening a boutique hotel for the first time brings excitement but also a lot of uncertainty, and pricing is one of the most nerve-wracking parts. Before opening, I wasn't sure how to approach rates: how low is too low, how high is too high, and what happens if I get it wrong from day one. What Hotellab gave me from the very beginning was structure. The ability to set minimum and maximum price boundaries meant I always had a safety net, rates would never drop below what I could afford, and never exceed what the market would bear. That clarity alone took a huge weight off my shoulders. Once we opened in early June and the first bookings started coming in, I could see the system working in real time, adjusting rates based on demand, staying within the parameters I had set, and reacting to the market without me having to monitor it constantly. For a new hotelier focused on so many things at once, the time saved from not having to worry about whether our pricing was right every single day has been invaluable. The system gave me confidence in the moment when I really needed it.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
As a new user I am still learning the full capabilities of the platform. The onboarding support was helpful and the team was patient with my questions. At this stage I don't have anything meaningful to flag, I'd rather spend more time with the system before drawing any conclusions.
