Sources
Verified hotelier reviews
We analyze all verified product reviews as a way to understand and summarize what real users/hoteliers are saying about the product to provide a more accurate and relevant description for buyers than only what vendors provide.
We analyze recommendations from industry experts who we ask to describe the most valuable features and capabilities of the product as well as key differentiators and what types of hotels the product works best for to extract unique insights and perspective for buyers.
While its important to incorporate analysis from verified user reviews and industry experts to create more balanced content, the way a vendor describes their overall company and vision can also shed light on their unique perspective or way of doing business which is why the AI ingests this information as well to add more context to paint a picture of what the company says vs what users and industry experts say.

Pricing Recommendations is a module that helps hotels set the right room price every day. Instead of a manager manually tracking competitors, occupancy, and demand, the system analyzes 100+ factors (competitor rates, flight search trends, booking history) and automatically suggests or pushes updated prices twice a day. The result: more revenue from the same rooms, with significantly less manual work.
Rate Shopper shows you what your competitors are actually charging, including all discounts and special offers, updated automatically up to 365 days ahead. Instead of manually checking booking platforms, you see real market prices in one place. This feeds directly into your pricing decisions, so you always know where your hotel stands relative to the competition.

The result: more revenue from the same rooms, with significantly less manual work.
Pricing Strategies is an add-on to Pricing Recommendations that gives hotels more control over how prices behave in specific situations. You set rules once: if occupancy reaches a certain level, prices go up; if demand is slow, prices drop in a controlled way. The system applies these rules automatically twice a day, so peak dates earn more, quiet periods fill up faster, and nothing depends on someone remembering to make a manual change.
INCLUDED
Flight Demand
Flight Demand & Analytics helps hotels spot incoming guests before they start booking. People typically search for flights weeks before they look for a hotel, so by tracking flight search data (via Skyscanner), the system detects rising travel interest to your destination early. This means you can raise prices ahead of demand, not after it peaks. Especially useful for seasonal leisure hotels where timing your pricing right makes a significant revenue difference.
Business Intelligence helps you understand what drives your hotel's revenue. Instead of scattered spreadsheets and hours of manual reporting, you get a single dashboard with all key metrics: occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, revenue by segment, channel, and room type, compared against last year, budget, or booking pace in real time. The result: faster decisions based on data, not gut feel.
Resort Rate Shopper is an upgrade to the standard Rate Shopper, built specifically for resorts where guests book by the week, not just one night. At resorts, competitors often set minimum stay requirements of 3, 5, or 7 nights, so a single-night price comparison gives a misleading picture. This module shows what guests can actually book across different stay lengths, and when competitors tighten or relax those rules.
The module gives hotels control not just over prices, but over who can book and under what conditions. For example, during peak weekends, you can require a minimum 3-night stay so one-night guests don't fill rooms that could go to higher-value bookings. The system applies these rules automatically based on demand, protecting the most profitable dates while relaxing restrictions when things are slow to keep occupancy up.
Group Analysis helps hotels decide whether to accept a group booking and at what price. The problem: saying yes to a group can block rooms that would sell at a higher price to individual guests. This module calculates the real trade-off, comparing expected group revenue against what the hotel would likely earn without it, and gives a clear recommendation on the minimum rate to accept or whether to decline altogether.

As a hotel in a strong winter destination, our pricing needs shift constantly with demand and minimum-stay periods around the ski season. The Resort Rate Shopper has been particularly useful here, it shows us what competitors are actually charging across different lengths of stay, not just a single night, which matters a lot when everyone applies different minimum-stay rules during peak weeks. Combined with the autopilot pricing, it's taken a lot of the daily guesswork out of our rate decisions and freed up time we used to spend manually checking competitor sites. The support team has also been responsive whenever we've had questions.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
We're still getting used to fine-tuning some of the more advanced settings, so a few more guided walkthroughs for newer users would be helpful.

What do you like most: Hotellab's autopilot has been a real asset for our revenue strategy. During a period when Thessaloniki's market saw a broad drop in rates, the system's strategy allowed us to hold our position by prioritizing occupancy, and the result was that we actually grew both occupancy and total revenue instead of losing ground. Since moving into autopilot a few months ago, we've consistently seen stronger performance month over month, and the reporting we get now gives us a clear, reliable picture to make decisions with.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
What could be improved: Early on we spent time aligning historical data to make sure everything matched up correctly. Once that was sorted, everything ran smoothly.

We tried two other revenue management systems over the past couple of years before landing on hotellab, and the difference has been clear from the start. The platform is reliable, the results have been strong, and honestly it's the first RMS where we felt like the tool was working with us rather than against us. The support team has been consistently responsive whenever we've had questions, which made a real difference after having less positive experiences elsewhere.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
We're still exploring parts of the platform and haven't yet tapped into everything it offers, we're in regular contact with the support team and looking forward to some of the upcoming features that should help us get even more out of it.

HotelLab has made a significant difference in the way we manage our revenue strategy. It has reduced the amount of time we spend on manual analysis and day-to-day revenue management tasks, allowing our team to focus more on the overall commercial strategy and, most importantly, on our guests.
Since implementing HotelLab, we have also seen consistent improvements in both occupancy and ADR. What we particularly appreciate is having a much clearer and more efficient way to make pricing decisions without constantly working through spreadsheets and data manually.
Overall, the combination of time saved, ease of use, and the positive impact on our performance has made HotelLab a valuable tool for our hotel.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
During the initial setup, some time was needed to align and validate our historical data so that everything was reflected correctly. Once this was completed, however, the platform worked smoothly and the overall experience has been very positive.

We switched to Hotellab RMS this year and the transition was seamless — the integration with our Pylon PMS was quick and hassle-free. ADR has already improved compared to last year and the autopilot feature keeps our pricing competitive automatically without daily manual work. For a beachfront hotel in Crete where demand shifts fast, that makes a real difference. The support team has been great throughout.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
We are still in our first season with Hotellab and are continuing to explore the full depth of the platform. So far the experience has been positive and the system has delivered what we needed from the very start.

Hotellab RMS has been a very valuable tool for our boutique property in Santorini, helping us optimize pricing while maintaining our premium positioning. As a small luxury hotel with only a few suites, it’s crucial for us to balance occupancy with high ADR, and the system provides clear, data-driven recommendations to support that.
We particularly appreciate:
The ease of use and intuitive dashboard
The ability to adjust strategies based on demand and seasonality
Helpful insights that align with our high-end, low-volume business model
Time savings compared to manual rate adjustments
It allows us to stay competitive while still reflecting the unique value of our property—private pools, panoramic views, and highly personalized guest experiences.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
While the system is very helpful overall, there is an area where improvement could make it even more powerful for boutique luxury properties like ours: Better integration of qualitative factors (guest experience, exclusivity, brand positioning) into pricing suggestions.

We have been working with Hotellab RMS at Acrotel Athena Pallas for over a year now, and we recently renewed for another year — which says everything about our experience. The system has become a reliable part of how we manage pricing on a daily basis, particularly during high-demand periods where reacting quickly to market changes makes a real difference.
What we appreciate most is automation. The Autopilot feature takes the daily workload off our hands — it monitors pick-up pace, competitor rates, and occupancy, and adjusts our prices accordingly without requiring manual intervention every morning. During our peak months, this has been especially valuable; the results during Autopilot-active periods have consistently been among our strongest. As a property with a wide room mix including maisonettes, having a system that handles the complexity of category-level pricing automatically is genuinely useful.
The support and customer success team have also been a consistent strength. They are proactive, knowledgeable, and always available when we need to review strategy or adjust settings — it feels like a true collaboration rather than just software support.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
More flexibility in the reporting module would be welcome — being able to customize views for specific segments or time windows would make it easier to extract exactly the insight we need without additional manual work. This is a minor point relative to what the system delivers overall.

This was the first time we implemented a Revenue Management System in our hotel, and we are already seeing positive results in both occupancy and revenue during our first season. The onboarding process was well supported by the HotelLab team, who were always responsive and willing to help with configuration and questions. The integration with our Channel Manager was smooth, allowing us to start using dynamic pricing without major technical issues.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
We are still in the early stages of using the platform, so it is too soon to draw firm conclusions about specific areas for improvement. As we gain experience over a full operating season, we expect to discover additional features and capabilities that could further enhance the platform. Based on our experience with the support team so far, we are confident that customer feedback is taken seriously and will continue to drive future improvements.

Opening a boutique hotel for the first time brings excitement but also a lot of uncertainty, and pricing is one of the most nerve-wracking parts. Before opening, I wasn't sure how to approach rates: how low is too low, how high is too high, and what happens if I get it wrong from day one. What Hotellab gave me from the very beginning was structure. The ability to set minimum and maximum price boundaries meant I always had a safety net, rates would never drop below what I could afford, and never exceed what the market would bear. That clarity alone took a huge weight off my shoulders.
Once we opened in early June and the first bookings started coming in, I could see the system working in real time, adjusting rates based on demand, staying within the parameters I had set, and reacting to the market without me having to monitor it constantly. For a new hotelier focused on so many things at once, the time saved from not having to worry about whether our pricing was right every single day has been invaluable. The system gave me confidence in the moment when I really needed it.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
As a new user I am still learning the full capabilities of the platform. The onboarding support was helpful and the team was patient with my questions. At this stage I don't have anything meaningful to flag, I'd rather spend more time with the system before drawing any conclusions.

We are a luxury seaside hotel in the Western Peloponnese with a strong identity and a discerning clientele, so we were careful about choosing the right revenue management system. We started using hotellab RMS at the end of March and were pleasantly surprised by how quickly everything came together. The integration with our Fidelio PMS was smooth and faster than we anticipated, which gave us confidence from the very start. Within the first couple of months the results were already visible, ADR, occupancy and RevPAR all improved meaningfully compared to the same period last year, and the revenue growth confirmed that the system was pricing our rooms in line with real market demand. Beyond the numbers, one of the most valuable outcomes has been the time saved. Pricing decisions that previously required manual effort and constant attention are now handled by the system, freeing our team to focus on the guest experience, which is at the heart of what we do.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
Nothing significant to flag at this stage. The onboarding was well-managed, the team was responsive, and the system delivered results quickly. We are still in the process of fine-tuning certain configurations and exploring the full depth of the platform, which we see as a natural and positive part of getting the most out of the tool.

The Hotelab system is easy to use and the implementation process with our Channel Manager, HotelAvailabilities, is also fast. Every accommodation needs to sell at the right price, thus applying dynamic pricing based on Hotellab’ s RMS will help hoteliers to maximize their revenue and average daily rates and will give them time back to focus on other areas of their business.

What sets HotelLab apart is its blend of sophistication and usability: you get deep forecasting, market demand visibility up to a year ahead, and features like smart competitor-rate tracking, without the steep learning curve many RMS tools impose. The customisation is strong. Whether it’s market sets, dashboards, or financial forecast builders, hotels of different size and type seem able to make the product fit their strategy rather than bending strategy to the tool. Also, the integration ecosystem is solid (PMS, channel managers, etc.), which means rate recommendations can flow more cleanly into operations. Users often say HotelLab saves them time and gives them confidence in decisions earlier, something many RMS’s promise but few realize so smoothly.

If you’re considering HotelLab, my advice is to lean fully into the onboarding process and give the system enough data to learn your patterns. The platform is powerful, but its real value shines once you trust the automation and let it guide your pricing strategy. Be open to testing the autopilot features early on, most hoteliers find they save significant time while still staying in control. The more you engage with the setup and customisation at the start, the quicker you’ll see the benefits in revenue and efficiency.

Unlike many RMS platforms that feel like a “black box,” Hotellab lets you see why it makes certain pricing recommendations and gives you tools to adjust the algorithm to your property’s strategy. Spend time setting up custom views, rules, and dashboards that reflect your unique business goals—this way, the system becomes a true partner in decision-making rather than just an automated rate-setter.
