What do you like most?
Overall it's a great part of the Wix Suite. Easy to handle, great design features, channel manager works fine, iCals also useful for smaller OTAs.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
There are 5 things that make the software almost useless: - Rooms are blocked for 15 minutes when a user enquires on the website. This means, if they check several dates and the go back to one of their previous choices, the room is shown as not available, because it is actually being blocked by themselves. No sensible system works like this - all other modern booking engines (and OTAs) only reserve availability when a booking is confirmed. - You cannot maintain the colours of the number of people (+ and -) buttons on theHotel Search Bar on the mobile version. It is different on the mobile version and doesn't follow the settings you make on the desktop version. - The Hotel Search Bar does not carry through the dates to Room Booking Pages and the user has to re-enter the dates in the room booking page that they had just entered in the booking window. - The drop down box on the Availability Calendar is limited to a very small number of characters - not enough for a room name of more than say 7 letters. Also, there is no link between the Availability Calendar and the Room Booking Page. - The hotel guests who make bookings on the website are not well linked to the CRM section in the same way as happen for online shop buyers.
