What do you like most?
THINKRESERVATIONS is a product that I would recommend to other Inn owners. I had little to no training when I bought my property and both myself and my business partner have figured out how to do everything we need to do. When support has been needed THINK is very responsive and has resolved any issue we've had in a timely and satisfactory manner. We use the Front Desk reports and housekeeper reports daily. They include any special requests and dietary restrictions so that we can menu plan and put extra towels etc in the room or whatever the guest wants us to know about their stay. I can get the other reports I need, for example when it's time to pay our sales and room tax or when comparing our data to the previous owners (it was preserved in the turnover). During COVID it was helpful/scary to see how many $ we lost in cancelations. It's easy to add items, update pricing, pretty much any changes that we need to make. The edit feature while in a reservation is the best. I can change dates, rates, add items etc. Being able to change the tax rate for individual reservations is also easy. Communication with the guests is efficient and it saves the history which is helpful when issues with guests arrive. I can send messages just by clicking on their phone number or email them the same way. I appreciate how I can add email templates and edit the existing ones with no trouble. THINK interfaces well with our reservation partners like Expedia and Booking.com and there have been no issues handling reservations from outside partners. THINK works great on my phone so I can work from anywhere. We have been approached by other reservation software companies but I've told them I have no interest in hearing about other products. THINK has been an asset to the daily operations of our small business.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
There are a couple "glitches" that I think may be unique to our property but the THINK rep listened to our issues and they are working on fixes.
