What do you like most?
With the changes to the layout of the cloud system versus the previous version, I was unsure as to how to add a reservation to a group block. With the help of customer service I was able to do so within minutes and was able to help my guest. Thankyou very much. What I like about VM Cloud the most? I most especially like the tabs bar to the right. It allows me to quickly move from page to page. It is also quite intuitive as to where you need to look for info, no more going to separate screens, just scroll down.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
There are a few things I can think of that could be improved so far. The biggest is the speed. Every single click has to wait a fraction of a second to get a response from your system, where before it was instantaneous with our own in house server. While it is only a half second or so, when this occurs for each and every click on the screen, it adds significantly to the check-in process. Also, when you go to enter the contact info for the guest, as you go to the address, city, state and postal code, it layers that whole part of the screen with pop-ups saying that you have either added or need to add to those exact sections after EVERY entry. So as you go to enter the address and go to enter the city, you are blocked by at least 6-8 pop-ups. You have to wait for them to fade out, then enter the city, just to have the whole thing happen again. It is VERY frustrating to have to do this 4 times for each and every reservation. I actually removed star late in the review for this very reason. All in all Virtual Matrix Cloud is a good system, it just needs a few tweaks to make it more user friendly speed wise. Either of the issues mentioned above is minor, but added together it does slow everything down. I have had regular guests start to ask me why check-in is taking longer than before as even they have noticed.
