What do you like most?
We're very happy with our marketing partner agreement with Sojern. As a small, independent hotel, it's difficult to compete with the budgets of large chains or the marketing investments of powerful OTAs like Booking.com or Expedia. They manage your budget as experts in travel and accommodation marketing, using AI and big data to gather relevant information on travel trends, planning, and purchasing intentions. They run SEM, metasearch (currently Facebook and Instagram), and display campaigns. Recently, we've added CPM campaigns (using sophisticated algorithms to show ads to the right audience at the right time and place) with very good results. They allow you to target specific audiences based on data about interests, hobbies, and behaviors. You can even select the audience you want to target yourself, in case the hotel is interested in a specific type of customer or country. It's integrated with our PMS and receives all the data correctly and seamlessly from the start. A very good option.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
It might be advisable to assess the real impact of programmatic campaigns on bookings and measure the actual ROI of these actions.
