What do you like most?
Our Customer Success Manager Mandy Yip has been extremely helpful and informative. She has helped guide the property through the use of this channel manager. She is very easy to work with and responds promptly. The Derbysoft team has been receptive to our feed back when we have asked for modifications or adjustments. I also appreciate how quickly the platform updates. We have a lot of challenges with Synxis taking a long time to load, so Derbysoft's rapid responses are much appreciated. I can see the changes I make in Derbysoft on our OTA partners almost instantly. It is a streamlined process to add new rate plans. It is also very simple to push through reservations when there are challenges with the OXI connection to our PMS. Because we receive daily emails, we are aware immediately if there is something wrong with our connection. This means we don't find out later in the day that there are a lot of pending reservations without confirmation numbers.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
- Reporting - We need a report that shows reservations made that day with the full guest booking information listed. The current reservation report hides this data, and thus has no value without this information displayed. We had an outage at the start of the year, and needed to run frequent new reservations reports. But we could not use the reports produced in Derbysoft to assist our Front Office team. -More notifications of new features - I would like to know when a new setting or feature is added. We set up a promotion in Ctrip, but I wasn't aware a checkbox needed to be checked for those promotional rates to flow to our PMS. It would also be great if tutorials can be added for the onboarding process. The knowledge base is fairly robust, but it would be great if they could add videos for new users. There are quite a few pages and intricacies with offsets and taxes, and it would be great to have more assistance in this area to explain what each feature does. Perhaps pop-up bubbles that explain the function of those selections?
