What do you like most?
As the general manager of Lux Suites Extended Stay, a newly opened property, I appreciate how Cloudbeds bring so many aspects of hotel operations together in one system. Managing reservations, availability, rates, guest information, payments, and multiple booking channels from one platform has been extremely valuable. I particularly appreciate the channel management capabilities, reporting features, and the ability to customize rates and manage corporate and extended stay reservations. Cloudbeds has been an important part of establishing our operations and growing our business. Well, there has certainly been a learning curve, I believe Cloudbeds offers a strong foundation for managing a hotel efficiently.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
One of the biggest improvements Cloudbeds should make is offering a genuine 24/7 telephone support with access to a knowledgeable, live representative. As a hotel operator, our business runs around the clock, and when an urgent issue arises involving reservations, payments, or system functionality, waiting for responses through online messages or support tickets can be extremely frustrating. We've also experienced challenges, navigating certain settings, troubleshooting integration, and generating specific financial, and tax reports. Some features could be more intuitive and user-friendly. As a newly opened hotel, we rely heavily on Cloudbeds for our daily operations. While, I appreciate the platform and everything it offers having reliable immediate access to a real person when assistance is needed, would make an enormous difference in an overall experience and confidence in the system.
