What do you like most?
Visual Matrix has no redeeming qualities. Picking what I like most is like asking me to choose what I like most about terminal brain cancer.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
Everything. Everything could be improved. For a START you could let users set the little drop-down menu options choosing how many results are displayed to the max by default and have it STAY THERE instead of making us re-choose that option EVERY SINGLE TIME. There are issues large and small, from the fact that it doesn't auto-move the cursor when entering phone numbers (and pops a LOADING message when you move from the area code to the other seven digits, forcing a pointless delay that the customers we're dealing with do not understand and should not have to be inconvenienced by) to the fact that it pops MULTIPLE NEEDLESS "LOADING" delays even for things that do not need to be checked before being submitted online to the fact that it takes multiple menu options to get to half the things i Need to do - things that should have easy shortcuts - to the fact that the stupid little side-menus will flip around if the mouse cursor moves half a pixel while they're doing their stupid little loading roll-out (and this is true even if there is only ONE SIDE MENU OPTION). This product makes everything harder than it should be, and that makes it harder to train new people and it means that we're going to take more time and make more mistakes at every level of the process, making the stay worse for both guests and staff. I've worked with other systems that are not dumpster fires. I worked with VM's non-online system which was garbage and had many of the same issues, but the online issue took an already-horrible system and made it a hundred times worse. It's also worth noting that the training modules you sent over were for a different version of the system than we actually got, and that the quizzes at the end were moronic. The quizzes would randomize the order the answers, presumably to stop people from just writing down the results for a re-take, but that meant that sometimes "All of the above" - which would be the correct answer - would appear as the top choice, meaning there was nothing above it. YOUR. SYSTEM. IS. A. FESTERING. PILE. OF. BARNYARD. WASTE. I do not understand how a single person with any experience working desk at a hotel ever told you a single positive thing about Visual Matrix, and it needs a full rethink and reprogram from page one.
