What do you like most?
Skeat has been an excellent addition to our operation. The back end of the program is very easy to use, making it simple for our team to manage day-to-day. The Skeat team was incredibly supportive throughout the implementation process and guided us every step of the way. Whenever we provided feedback or suggested improvements, they responded quickly and worked on practical solutions almost immediately. Updating menus, pricing, and scheduling menu changes for different times of the day is straightforward and efficient. The direct integration with our POS system has also saved our team a significant amount of time by eliminating manual processes. Guests can charge directly to their room and link their ALL Accor memberships to Skeat, which is a great feature for hotels. Most importantly, we've seen a noticeable increase in guest spend from those ordering through Skeat compared to guests ordering directly with our team. Overall, it's been a fantastic system that has improved both our operational efficiency and the guest experience. we have decided to roll out Skeat across our other hotels.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
One area that could be improved is the way forced modifier options work. Currently, to prompt guests to select add-ons such as milk type, syrups, or sugar preferences, these modifiers need to be set as mandatory within Symphony. It would be ideal if Skeat could manage these prompts independently, without requiring the options to be forced in Symphony, as this would provide greater flexibility for in-house ordering. My understanding is that this enhancement is already being worked on. That said, the current setup still works well and hasn't impacted the overall experience.
