What do you like most?
The ability to see and adjust the forecast based on our demand. Make pricing changes and re-forecast. And seeing pricing for competitors in market impact our pricing. Our customer support is very helpful. We routinely meet with stakeholders from Cendyn to review the impact of the product and how we can improve the product and reporting. The Cendyn package also is being ramped up and scaled to meet our business demands. They have added other tools that will eventually allow us to build our a CRS and have reservations controlled and pushed to the PMS with little to no intervention from our booking engine and call center team.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
It would be nice to adjust the segmentation on the fly. Sometimes with seasonality and specific high demand dates we are locked into our segmentation. If we could adjust on the fly, we could drive additional revenues. It would also be nice to see behind the curtain to understand the modeling behind their predictions. And be able to adjust that on the fly as well. Sometimes there are gaps between when we can meet up with the Data Modeling team and this can be a delay when trying adjust for random demand changes like a weather event or closure.
