What do you like most?
We are a small seasonal inn and Sirvoy works really well for our needs. The user interface is really clean, simple, and easy to understand. The front-facing consumer bookings are also really user-friendly. It maps to OTAs fairly well. We wish there were a few more customization options but it suits our needs for the most part and the development team seems to continue to be adding new features. We haven't had any problems with double bookings, software crashes, or anything like that - it's quite a reliable service. Really like the guest communication options and being able to toggle on/off for automated emails. Appreciate being able to manually export bookings as well. For our small budget the subscription fee high but it's the best choice for us right now.
What do you dislike or think could be improved?
The billing connection to Google Maps is strange and lost us a lot of business before we figured out what was happening. Sometimes I've had to figure out workarounds for issues on my own after the support team had been unhelpful in finding solutions, although they are friendly to deal with. It would be nice if the review booking page had the option to change dates rather than just cancel. We also wish there were a few more options to customize the VAT/surcharges. The invoicing/cash receipt functions are still a but confusing to us but I imagine that's more of a lack of accounting skills on our part. Lately there have been issues with phishing so we have to enter an authentication code about every 5 seconds which is quite annoying. Understand the need for safety but hoping they can find a better solution.
